Eternity Band
Sometimes referred to as an infinity ring, an eternity band is a ring encircled with a continuous line of diamonds, or precious gemstones. The concept originated in Ancient Egypt, where it symbolised connection between two people, and the circle of life.
In the 18th century, suitors would often give an eternity band as a promise ring. Now, as then, they’re given or exchanged to evoke the sentiment of unending devotion, loyalty or love.
