Belcher Chain
The Belcher chain is one of jewellery’s most timeless designs. It originated in England in the 18th century, with broad, uniformly sized, round or oval-shaped links that are interlocked and then soldered together. It is often a piece with weight, and a sense of integrity. It takes its name from bare-knuckle boxer Jem Belcher, who was Champion of All-England from 1800 until 1805, and who famously wore a similar style.
