About the jewellery
Our collection is crafted in workshops in Thailand and the UK, all of which have been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
Rhodium is a rare and highly reflective metal. It is electroplated to 14-karat solid gold, giving the jewellery depth and contrast. Over time, black rhodium wears down to a more subtle grey, like the oxidised Victorian silver jewellery we see so often today. How long the finish lasts depends on how often the piece is worn, and which other substances it comes into contact with. We offer a replating service, and will be happy to replate it for you. Contact us at concierge@lucydelius.co.
All Lucy Delius pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office, in accordance with the Hallmarking Act of 1973.
How to care for your jewellery
Lucy Delius fine jewellery is always made from recycled solid gold. It can be worn day in, day out. If it’s looked after well, it will outlast us all. But it pays to be mindful.
If you do take your jewellery off, store it in the pouch it arrived in. Separate earrings so they don't scratch one another. Lay necklaces flat.
To clean your jewels, take a soft toothbrush – a child's one works well – and brush gently with washing up liquid. Dry with a microfibre cloth.
If you swim, shower or work out in your Antique Finish jewellery, the black rhodium plating will fade over time. We will be happy to replate it for you. Contact us at concierge@lucydelius.co.
