Bepoke Jewellery

Jewellery starts conversations and connects us across generations, representing a legacy of experiences. Every piece we make is in dialogue with those that have come before, and those it will be worn next to for years to come. So we welcome discussions about jewellery with our coven – particularly they allow us to work with you to create personal, one-of-a-kind jewels.

Realisation

Underpinning all that Lucy designs is her enduring fascination with Victorian jewels – at once intricate and functional, sentimental and strong. In The Victorian Gentleman, these threads can be traced all the way to their origins: princely archetypes, subverted for now. The Victorian watch chain, coveted among collectors and ripe for reconsideration, is at the heart of both the collection and the brand, its myriad silhouettes and styles elevated and refined. Twisted links and trombone links are delicate and decorative. Belcher, rope and muff chains have a pleasing presence on the body. Victorian-set pavé amplifies brilliance and light on T-bars, pocket watch pendants, huggies and hoops. This, Lucy explains, is where it all begins.

Our process begins, like all great friendships, with a shared connection. You’ll sit down with Lucy to talk over jewellery, and consider the emotional currency it accrues in the wearing. You’ll share your thoughts, moodboards and personal preferences, and perhaps your most treasured pieces or family stones. We will then begin creating the foundations of what will be your piece, before sharing a number of design concepts for your consideration.

Once you have decided on the final design for your new piece, it will be handmade by our team of expert goldsmiths and stone-setters, in our local London atelier. For more information, or to make your appointment, contact us at studio@lucydelius.co; we’d be delighted to host you at our west London studio – or, if you can’t make it to us, to arrange a video call.

The price of a bespoke piece begins at £5,000.
